Following the Opening Ceremony held on Thursday, January 19, 2012, at 7:30PM there will be a poetry slam contest. If you want to participate in the poetry slam as a contestant or for more information, please email Chelsea Jackson and Natalie Dunn at Programs.sbslc@yahoo.com with your name, the name of the school you are representing, and a copy of your original piece, either spoken word or poetry. There will be a prize awarded to the winner of the contest! The deadline for contestants to enter will be December 1, 2011. |
